The T20 Communiqué provides high-impact, solutions-driven and implementation-focused policy recommendations from T20 South Africa to the G20 South Africa. This document is a synthesis of the task force statements that were presented to the G20 Sherpa following the T20 Midterm Conference held on 19-20 June 2025. A comprehensive version will be released ahead of the T20 Summit in November.
The abstract submission period concluded on 10 February 2025. The co-convenors of T20 South Africa extend their sincere gratitude to all authors who submitted abstracts for consideration. We received more than 800 submissions. The diversity of perspectives and the strong alignment with the thematic focus areas and requirements were particularly encouraging.
We are able to accommodate approximately 125 abstracts that will be developed into policy briefings.
