The South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA), the Institute for Global Dialogue (IGD), and the Institute for Pan-African Thought and Conversation (IPATC) are pleased to announce the T20 South Africa Summit. This high-level event will be held in Johannesburg from 13-14 November 2025.

Over two impactful days, we will bring together leaders in government, national and international think tanks, distinguished academics and representatives from the public, private, and civil society sectors. Our purpose is to deliberate on the critical public policy recommendations that have been formulated by the T20 engagement group throughout the year. The summit will feature insightful keynote speakers, engaging panel discussions and breakaway sessions, with ample opportunities for networking.

Please note that this is a by-invitation only event, and in-person participation is limited. The program is designed for representatives involved in G20 and T20 research and policy processes, as well as those drawn from the private sector, civil society, think tanks, government and diplomatic corps. Selected sessions will be livestreamed to a wider audience.
