The 20th century saw Asia and Africa's pursuit of development through North-South Cooperation in open trade and investments, which resulted in linear industrialization creating systemic vulnerabilities. This report analysis the trends and developments and proposes G20 to champion a Trans-Asia-Africa Circular Economy Sphere, which would built on two key pillars of enhanced resource traceability and building circular supply chain aided by digital connectivity.
